Houston Methodist-The Woodlands Bereavement Suite

Yesterday evening, we were honored to have been able to do a huge drop off at Houston Methodist-The Woodlands.

Two of our initiatives are creating bereavement suites and providing cuddle cots to hospitals and yesterday we were able to do just that.

The bereavement suite is a room that is decorated differently to give less of a hospital feel and to provide grieving parents with a more comfortable space to grieve and make memories with their babies. The room includes a cuddle cot to also give the gift of time. The room has a library cart filled with books and keepsakes that the family can pick through. Throughout the room are meaningful quotes as gentle reminders that they are not alone and that their grief is okay.

We wouldn't have been able to make this happen with generous donations and support. We would like to give a special thanks to the ones who donated items and funds directly in honor of their precious babies.
