This year we did something new and we weren't entirely sure how much participation we were going to receive since we started it a little late. We were thinking about special ways to include our babies this holiday season, but also how we could help other kids as well. That's when we came up with the idea of a toy drive where each gift was donated by a loss parent in honor of their babies.
We were blown away by the love and support. We had a goal of donating 50 gifts but received 129 gifts! The gifts were given to the Texas Children The Woodlands and Arrow Child and Family Ministries, which is a local foster care program.
We know that finding ways to incorporate our babies is so important to not only our healing journey, but also in keeping our babies memories alive. We plan on doing this next year and will start earlier so we can honor more babies and help more kids in need.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Your babies lives have such a big impact and we're so honored to have been a stepping stone in helping others in need in their memory.
